Headpowder successfully delivered a low-wear conveying solution for a glass fiber powder project located in Jiangsu Wuxi. The system was specifically engineered to handle highly abrasive glass fiber powder while maintaining stable, continuous operation with minimal component degradation.

The client faced severe wear issues in their existing pneumatic conveying system. Glass fiber powder particles caused rapid erosion of pipe bends, elbows, and rotary valves, leading to frequent maintenance shutdowns. Replacement of worn components every few weeks resulted in high operational costs and reduced production efficiency. Additionally, fine particle leakage from worn seals created dust hazards and material loss.

Headpowder redesigned the conveying system using wear-resistant ceramic-lined pipes, optimized airflow velocity profiles, and specially coated transport components. The solution reduced contact between abrasive particles and metal surfaces, extended service life of key parts, and ensured airtight sealing to prevent dust escape. A centralized PLC control was integrated to monitor wear status and adjust conveying parameters in real time.
